Triathlon

The triathlon team of Brussels Gay Sports (BG3S) is now accredited by Ligue Francophone de Triathlon (LF3)!

We are a diverse and inclusive group of recreational athletes who enjoy swimming, biking, and running in good company. We strive to make triathlon accessible to anyone, from beginners taking up different endurance sports as a personal challenge to seasoned Ironman finishers. Besides individual objectives, we set a few race objectives for the group at the start of the season, typically olympic-distance triathlons (swimming: 1.5 km, biking: 40 km, running: 10 km) in Belgium and sometimes abroad – our eyes are set on the Gay Games 2026 in Valencia!

Our main training facilities are located in Schaerbeek (Neptunium, Terdelt) and Etterbeek (Espadon), and we sometimes train with our friends from BGS Running and BGS Swimming. To streamline pool occupation and optimise coaching attention, we only ask that you can swim freestyle over 100 m, even with imperfect technique – our coaches will help you improve! We otherwise welcome athletes of all levels regardless of gender or sexual orientation: our community will help you grow and thrive while being yourself and achieving your sports goals.

Feel free to reach out if you are interested to try!
