Pilates

During the Pilates classes we will work on breathing, concentration, balance and rythm as well as on your muscular endurance. Although classes require some concentration, they are very relaxing and your evening can start with an new type of energy.

The Pilates method has been developped at the beginning of the 20th century by Joseph Pilates. It focusses on alignment and breathing and allows you to develop a strong 'powerhouse'. Pilates helps you to improve coordination and balance.

Our instructor Naama started practicing Pilates when she was 18, after dancing from a young age. She came to Pilates looking for new ways to move and work with her body and immediately fell in love with the practice. In 2017 she become a certified Pilates teacher by PSC institution (Pilates Sports Center). She has worked in Israel, Paris, and Belgium.

She believes that Pilates does not just help to create a strong and flexible body, but also provides an opportunity to create body awareness and learn how to cure and avoid pain. As a teacher, she enjoys leading others in the process of developing an awareness of the body and love for movement. She is also a dancer and choreographer.

She is a didactic teacher who takes care of her students and the small details of the moving body. Naama's classes respond to the student's levels, needs, and abilities.

BGS membership fee:

€20 from September until August (or €10 from May).

 

Subscription:

  • from September until June: €140
  • from January until June: €100
  • from April until June: €55

 

Price per session:

€8 or €4 (social rate or day student)

Your first time is always free.
